In 2015, Denver-native Matt Hyder introduced his brainchild, Recoup Cold Roller, to the world and has since turned it into a multi-million-dollar company. After a basketball injury, Hyder dreamed up the device and soon turned his $8 prototype into a product that can be spotted being used by sports stars from teams such as the Broncos and the Rockies.
After two hours in the freezer, the Cold Roller can be used for up to six hours to roll over sore or strained muscles to release toxins and relax muscles. Roll over sore spots by hand or remove from the holder and maneuver the Cold Roller much like you would a foam roller. Cost is $39.99. For more information, visit recoupfitness.com.
