Elementary through high school educators interested in the electric industry can learn how electricity is generated and supplied to today’s users during a three-day session June 23-25 in Westminster, courtesy of Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, the power supplier to 18 of Colorado’s 22 electric co-ops.
Teachers will learn how to integrate energy curriculum materials into classrooms at every grade level and for all learning styles. Participants leave with the training and a hands-on energy kit for the classroom worth $300.
